| If you are visiting the Academy Of Model Aeronautics flying
site don't forget to visit Muncie Model & Hobby. Mark Vest is the proprietor
of Muncie Model and can be reached at 765-289-5856 to answer any questions
or order fuel for AMA events. Store hours vary depending on current events
at the AMA site. The hobby shop is located just off of the Eastern
property line of the AMA site.
Below are some of the aisles of the shop. Muncie Model carries a large
line of free flight, control line, and R/C supplies. The hobby shop
reminds me of the shops of years past where 4 to 6 # balsa was on the
shelf along with silk and silkspan and dope. Sure is nice to have a
hobby shop located just off of the AMA property in case you need something
in a hurry at the Nationals or a weekend flying.
